Welcome!

My name is Vannick Douglas, also known as VanMan. I have a Bachelor of Arts from the Art Institute of Phoenix in Media Arts and Animation. I currently reside in Los Angeles, California in order to further my experience in my career and to find opporunity along the way.

I'm an Animator; traditional 2D, Flash, and 3D. I'm the creator, writer, and artist of Bad Buddy Comics, a Web Comic that I'm currently working on. I also do 3D Character Modeling and Development. Whenever I'm taking a break from being a full-time student and artist, I'm out taking pictures and enjoying the outdoors.

My Story

Born in New Orleans Louisiana, I picked up art naturally at the age of 7 and have been learning and creating ever since. After High School, I enlisted in the Marines and did four years of honorable active service. The skills I've developed from this experience are leadership, honor, dedication to duty, and to be a team player; traits I still practice today. With the desire to continue my art and education, I started searching for an art school and it led me to the Art Institute of Phoenix. Thanks to the military and everything I've learned while studying Media Arts & Animation, I can finally express my creativity.

My Goal

My goal is and will always be to create. Everyday someone creates something that changes the way we live. I wake up telling myself that today I will be that someone.
